Working closely with the architects at Zirup and LWZ, we designed and built a mobile sound system for FM4. Since early 2018 the boombox has been in use both indoors and outdoors at festivals, concerts and parties.

Built like a western-town facade

The construction follows the principle of a western-town facade. Front panels fitted with LED lighting are mounted onto a static frame of slim aluminium elements on the visible sides.

The sound equipment itself sits inside the housing, behind the front speaker panels. When disassembled, the boombox is transported to each venue on two trolleys and can be set up and taken down again by just two people.
